About
Mike Stock
Founder & President, Warthog Development Group
Mike Stock built his career in environments where leadership matters, details matter, and failure is not an option.
A retired U.S. Air Force Colonel and decorated A‑10 fighter pilot, Mike spent over 21 years leading people, managing complex operations, and executing high-stakes missions around the world. He commanded the Air Force's largest Tactical Air Support unit, led organizations responsible for more than 1,000 Special Warfare Airmen, and served at the Pentagon overseeing 16 programs totaling $28 billion.
He was named one of the U.S. Air Force's top fighter pilots, earned the Distinguished Flying Cross with Valor for heroism in combat, and was personally selected by the Chief of Staff of the Air Force to help evaluate the future of fighter aviation.
Mike's leadership is defined by tenacity, grit, and ruthless stewardship. He does not quit when conditions become difficult, timelines tighten, or obstacles multiply. He stays engaged, finds a way forward, and holds himself and his team accountable to the mission. He treats every dollar, relationship, opportunity, and responsibility as something entrusted to his care — and he protects those assets with discipline, urgency, and uncompromising attention to detail.
Mike brought that same mission-focused approach into the private sector, where his work has included business development, capital formation, strategic partnerships, aviation, and real estate.
Warthog brings together landowners, investors, builders, lenders, engineers, and other professionals necessary to take a project from concept to execution. Whether serving as an owner's representative, helping structure a development opportunity, building the right team, or driving a project forward, Mike approaches every engagement the same way he approached a mission: Define the objective. Build the team. Develop the plan. Execute.
